BASA OYO 2027: Alhaja Mariam Aliyu Rallies Support for Historic Governorship Bid

The Oyo State Woman Leader of the BASA Movement, Alhaja Mariam Aliyu, has issued a call to action to the people of Oyo State, urging them to support Hon. Omobolanle Sarumi Aminat Aliyu (BASA) in the forthcoming 2027 elections.

In a statement released to the press, Alhaja Aliyu emphasized the importance of supporting BASA's candidacy, highlighting her vision for a better Oyo State. She specifically appealed to residents of Ogbomoso, Ibadan, Ibarapa, Oke Ogun, and Oyo Town zones to rally behind BASA.
Alhaja Aliyu also reached out to various stakeholders, including market women, market men, religious leaders, and politicians, urging them to lend their support to BASA's candidacy. She emphasized that this is an opportunity for the people of Oyo State to come together and support a leader who has the welfare of the state at heart.
Furthermore, Alhaja Aliyu stressed the significance of supporting women in leadership positions, stating that it is time for women to take the helm in Oyo State. She believes that BASA possesses the qualities and leadership skills necessary to drive positive change in the state.

"We pray that God Almighty will guide us through this process," Alhaja Aliyu concluded.

Senate Chief Whip Ndume Exposes 10 Senators Who Got Over N200 Million From 2024 Budget [ See LIST]

Ali Ndume, the Senate Chief Whip has disclosed that all Senators in the Senate are entitled to N200 million for constituency projects,  but he and 9 other of his colleagues got more than that.
