PHOTOS: Engr. Jethro Annum Emerges as NYC President at Abuja Convention, Oyo Youths Extend Congratulations

The Oyo State Youths, under the aegis of the Nigerian Youth Congress, have warmly congratulated Engr. Jethro Annum on his election as President of the Nigerian Youth Congress during the National Convention of the body, which held in Abuja between September 12 and 14, 2025.

In a statement issued by the NYC Oyo State Director-General for Media and Publicity, Segun Akinlabi (Egalitarian), the youths of Oyo described Engr. Annum’s emergence as a beacon of hope for young people across the country. They also expressed optimism that his leadership would usher in a new era of empowerment, inclusivity, and opportunities for Nigerian youths, particularly within Oyo State.

Speaking on behalf of the chapter, the Oyo State Youth Congress Chairman, Comr. Legacy, lauded Engr. Annum’s vision and capacity, while offering prayers for his success. He prayed that God bestows upon him wisdom, fortitude, and divine guidance throughout his tenure as President, grants him remarkable achievements and impactful leadership, and safeguards him to excel as one of the most effective leaders in the history of the Nigerian Youth Congress.

The statement further assured Engr. Annum of the unwavering loyalty and cooperation of Oyo State youths, pledging full support towards the actualisation of his progressive agenda for the Congress.
The Oyo State Chapter of the Nigerian Youth Congress, ably led by Comr. Legacy, reiterated its belief that Engr. Jethro Annum’s tenure would mark a turning point in the drive for youth inclusion and national development.
